Storytelling Through AI: Vision of the Future
We joined our partners at CoFunction for AI in Action: Design + Construction — an evening in Vancouver where artificial intelligence, architecture, construction, design, and storytelling came together in one room.
Hosted by CoFunction Events & Workspaces and presented in partnership with Feels Good Media, the event brought Vancouver’s design and construction professionals together around a single question: what does AI actually change about how projects get imagined, sold, and built?
Our answer came from the work itself. We walked the room through how AI-generated imagery and video can:
- Visualize projects before construction begins
- Create marketing assets for developments and brands
- Communicate design intent more effectively
- Reduce production costs and timelines
- Explore multiple creative directions before committing resources
The best conversations of the night circled a shared concern — how to integrate these tools into real design processes while preserving the authenticity and creativity that make the work worth looking at. Our position hasn’t changed: AI is a production instrument, not a point of view. The craft, the taste, and the story still have to come from people.
Thanks to the CoFunction team for the room, the crowd, and the coffee — their space on Triumph Street is built for exactly this kind of collision between industries. If your team is weighing what AI-leveraged production could mean for a development, a brand, or a build, that conversation is our favourite place to start.
